About ERIC BACH

About Eric

Growing up in Danville, Eric has taken an active role in his community for many years. Beginning with student leadership during his attendance at Danville School and into his college years at Norwich University. He returned to Danville to continue being an active part in his community, participating in and leading through his roles in local organizations and municipal government.


Eric has over 20 years of experience in the medical field with his beginnings as an Emergency Medical Technician, moving into a hospital setting, and now as the owner and operator of Canterbury Inn, a licensed residential senior care home in St. Johnsbury. Eric worked for the State of Vermont for ten years assisting low income families with housing and food stability on their path to employment and financial independence.


When not working, Eric has been an active part of the Danville Chamber of Commerce, chairing and organizing many of their large events, working with the Village Improvement Society in their efforts to maintain a welcoming environment and working in various roles supporting local town government including being an active member of the Danville Selectboard for almost 10 years.
